Its good to be home as the Mets are back on the right track. We had a 5-2 home stand by beating the first place Marlins and a good Dodger team. Now this is a big boost for our club and now we can contiue our journey to win the world serise. It was a little scary in the first game when they lost a 3-1 lead. But no come plaints except the bullpen a few leads. But besides that we played good baseball. Like in the extra inng come from behind win against Florida and tha Saturday against the Dodgers. The biggest 2 surprises to me are the come from behind wins and the way Mike Pelfry has improved his pitching. This is our new start now and lets get more wins.

We  are still losing to the worst team in baseball. The thing that really hurts is that we were winning these games a we still lost. Its comes down to the pitching time and time again. We need pitching we have hitting no pitching. It makes me sick only 1 win in a week. In 1 week we were kings of New York to hopeless bums within a week. Its truly a huge disgrace and embarrasing. So I’m begging the Mets when they come back to Shea please win a series just one its not that much to ask. Is it.

This weekend was a great weekend we killed the Yankees in the Bronx, I kept on bragging about the wins. We were hitting everything in sight. We were kings. But against the Braves not one win come on. Its Atlanta what happened we beat the Yankees but not the Braves. We have the biggest momentum by beating a graet team and we still lost. How? Because we can’t win these games. We are now bums who were kings.

On wensday against the Dodgers was a great game for us and nothing to complain about. Nothing except the very end when Whillie took out John Maine in the ninth. Let the guy pitch the complete game theres no way they can come back from a 13-0 game. Willie can’t manage his bullpen if we don’t win the world series this year I want him gone and I’ll do anything to take him out. If it was 2-0 fine take him out but its 13-0 come on. Whats wrong with Willie.

I would like to hi to the Mets offense last night but it wasn’t there. One run against the Dodgers pathethic. It made me sick last night knowing we had at least 3 chances for a big inning but only managed one run.. Come On ! Let me face a little reality here Perez didn’t pitch that great but good enough to win. He had minor set backs with 3 home runs. The only way I could blame Perez for the loss if the Mets scored 3 or 4 runs in the game. There was a little bit of good news is that the Mets bulpen was solid last night. Now lets look forward to todays game with the great new guy Figueroa (2-1)  pitching and to the Mets offense can we get 3 or 4 runs tonight. Besides were not facing anybody good just Kuroda and he’s awful. Also starting May 16 I will begin to write during the game and see how that goes. 

Yesturday the Mets defeated the D’Backs 7-2. John Maine lasted 6 innings giving up 2 runs without his best stuff. David Wright and Jose Reyes both missed cycles. Wright missed by a triple and Reyes by a home run. Ryan Church hitting a home run last night and also driving in 3 runs. A good day back for Alou going 1 for 3 with an R.B.I. and a walk. A good performance by the Mets bulpen going 3 inning giving up 1 hit. The game started off great by the Mets scoring 3 runs in the first and 1 in the second. The D-backs made thing interesting in the bottom of the second scoring 2 runs with 2 men on base ,but John Maine got out of it. Getting 1 in the forth by a Ryan Church home run and 2 in the sixth by a 2 run homer by Wright. Great day by the Mets nothing to complain about. Now today we have to come up big with Webb pitching today. So todays Match up between Mike Pelfrey ( 2-1 ) and Brandon Webb for the D-backs ( 6-0 ). We must score every oppentunity we get and Pelfrey will have to pitch the best he’s ever pitch in order to win today. If we baet Brandon Webb to day and them tomorrow I think they will get confident and emerge as the best team in baseball

What a bad day for the Mets today first with rain then the pitching then the hitting just awful. The thing is we lost to Pittsburgh one of the worst teams. I rather loose to these guys than the Phillies, Braves, or Yankees. Oliver Perez was just awful today, the worst I’ve seen him since he was with Pittsburgh. Hello to the Mets offense just one run by Ryan Church to driveing in Beltron. Come On! We have to do better way better than this. Bad day today at least theres Friday.

When I began being a Mets fan I idolized Mike Piazza, Al Lieter, Derek Bell. I went to my first Mets game in the August of 2000 against the Florida Marlins they WON . After  that I’ve been to one Mets game a year. Going to Shea every year has been and will ever be a great experience. I love the Mets and now it’s our turn to win and be World Champs.
